Effective instruction is the key to improving student learning that calls for a mixture of best practices and strategies to help students achieve at a higher level. This workshop will discuss concepts and methodologies that are recognised as being fruitful in enhancing the learning process. A combination of presentations and a flipped classroom approach will be employed to help participants design innovative and contextualised strategies for the learners. Instructional strategies, suggestions, various available learning avenues, and activities, that teachers can incorporate to effectively engage students in their lessons, will be highlighted.
