Writing and reading skills in the early years play an important role in nurturing literacy development. They offer a multifaceted approach to enhancing emergent literacy, encompassing various aspects such as expressing ideas, refining fine motor skills, understanding print concepts, and fostering phonological awareness and phonics. Beginning from basic phonics, children progress to tracing and forming letters, expanding their vocabulary, and eventually mastering reading, writing, and comprehension. The workshop comprehensively guides participants through this developmental journey, providing practical samples of vocabulary and texts to facilitate effective learning and teaching.
