The World around Us

This workshop will help teachers appreciate that children are born explorers and naturally learn about the world around them through discovery and experience.
Components
- gain information about ‘The World around Us’ objectives as prescribed in the National Curriculum of Early Childhood Education (NC-ECE) Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan, 2007
- understand how teachers can help children discover their world through indoor and outdoor activities
- explore ways of using children’s questions about their surroundings to guide lesson planning
- learn to use story-books and rhymes to impart exciting information about topics such as, the weather, caring for the environment, important places and animal habitats.
