Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • understand the role of science in one’s daily life
  • identify the learning goals of teaching science in schools
  • evaluate themselves as a science learner while using their critical thinking skills to create something new
  • explore a variety of activities to engage pupils in scientific learning

Workshop Leader

Ms. Saman Ali Jafri holds a masters degree in Biochemistry and brings with her 8 years of experience in teaching senior students as well as in the professional development of teachers. During her career in education, she has also participated in science exhibitions, projects and other science related activities. Currently she is teaching O Level Chemistry at The Mama Parsi Girls Secondary School.
