Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • understand the concept of Directed writing in O Level English
  • learn creative ways to teach Directed writing to Students
  • explore formats for Directed writing as per Cambridge Examination standard requirement
  • discuss marking bands of Directed writing tasks

Workshop Leader

Mr. Faizan Karsaz has a B.Sc (Hons.) degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University BusinessSchool and holds a Certificate in Teaching English Language in affiliation with Cambridge University, UK. He is also part of Access Karachi Project, a joint venture of the US Consulate and iEarn Pakistan. He brings with him vast experience in teaching and school management. Currently he is working at the post of Academic Coordinator at Jaffar Public School and has been conducting teacher training workshops at leading institutes of Pakistan.
