Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • understand the difference between coaching and mentoring
  • explore qualities, skills and role of effective mentor teachers
  • learn steps towards establishing a mentor-mentee relationship
  • examine various coaching approaches and their implication
  • discover key challenges in building rapport and trust with the students

Workshop Leader

Ms. Syra Rehman holds an MBA degree in Human Resource Development. She has over 7 years experience in conducting training sessions for staff and has volunteered coaching and mentoring services in schools that are supported by charitable organisations. Currently she is working as a motivational and soft skills trainer and Organisational Development consultant.
