One of the important roles that a teacher performs is of a counsellor which requires specific skills and commitment while interacting with the students, colleagues as well as parents and management. Counselling not only guides people but also motivates them and resolves issues. This workshop will focus on the skills and strategies to keep in mind while counselling others.

Workshop Leader

Ms. Farida Karbalai holds a M.Sc. degree in Advance Professional Studies with a major in Curriculum Development from University of Strathclyde, UK and an M.A. degree in Political Science from University of Karachi. She brings with her 25 years of varied experience in the educational field, ranging from teaching and training teachers to managing school administration in some of the leading schools of Karachi. Ms. Karbalai has also contributed towards development of academic material and assessments.
