In the working and learning environment, a confident presenter is able to convey information in an effective way. Moreover, drawing attention of the audience is not an easy task. To present effectively, one should be aware of the required skills and different methods to do so. In this workshop, one will explore ways to develop meaningful presentations.

Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • learn how to fight “stage anxiety” associated with public talks and presentations
  • explore ways to use voice, eye contact, fillers and gestures to their advantage in a presentation
  • enhance their knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and basics of Prezi
  • identify ways to tackle difficult Q & A session in an effective manner
  • highlight aspects to avoid while presenting

Workshop Leader
Ms. Saadia Mansur has a Master’s degree in Project Management with majors in Human Resource Management and Supply Chain Management from Bahria University-Islamabad and has done Doctors of Pharmacy from Hamdard University. A part from the specialisations in the field of management and pharmacy, she also holds an international diploma DELF (Diploma d’etudes en langue francaise) in French language. She is currently employed at TRC as a monitoring & evaluation officer and has been engaged in research based work related to project development.
