Objectives
Through this workshop, participants will:

  • understand the value of sports in the holistic development of a child?s personally
  • become aware of the need to plan and conduct appropriate sport activities in the school
  • explore the use of low cost no cost resources in organising sport activities
  • learn about safety guidelines and first aid procedures to manage sport injuries in schools

Workshop Leaders
Ms. Ayesha Qureshi brings with her more than 20 years of experience in the field of sports, which includes 14 years as Sports Coordinator at Convent of Jesus & Mary, as well as a Sports Consultant at various institutions. She conducts workshops on developing sport activities and performs duties as a cricket coach and net-ball referee. At present, she is working at Habib University as a Field Manager for a project called ilead, initiated by the Youth Ministry for promoting sports & technically supported by British Council.
