Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • understand the role of poetry as an integral part of learning
  • learn about the benefits of poetry as a confidence enhancing tool
  • explore the different types of poetry
  • highlight the elements of a poetry lesson plan
  • identify various methods and techniques for teaching poetry

Ms. Arwa Khuzaima has received her basic education in East Africa and has specialized in Early Childhood Education from England. She has over 22 years of teaching experience in ECE classes both here and abroad and has been conducting workshops for teachers of various institutions both within Pakistan and abroad.
