Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • examine various methods to help students enjoy and appreciate Poetry
  • gain the experience of writing their own poems
  • explore strategies to develop pre-reading, reading and post-reading skills among the students
  • identify criteria for choosing poems to teach
