In service training for teachers is the need of the time, especially in a country where a professional degree in teaching is not always a pre-requisite for employment in a school. To maintain and upgrade the teaching standards, every school requires programmes to enable teachers to keep abreast of new pedagogical strategies, and develop appropriate skills and attitudes. The aim of this workshop is to provide school managements with various formats and organisational tips to conduct on- going professional development sessions in their institutions tailored for their own specific needs.

  • learn about various formats, besides workshops, for conducting in-service training

Workshop Leader

Ms. Uzma Shabbir brings with her an experience of 22 years in teaching English Language and Literature at the secondary level. In addition to that, she has also worked in Curriculum Development, Teacher Training and Support. She is currently teaching English Literature to O Level students and is the academic coordinator for the secondary section at Haque academy.
