Bullying is a problem that occurs in any educational setting. To be able to identify bullying situations, it is important to be aware of certain criteria that classify them as such. This workshop will help educators to prevent and manage cases of bullying in the schools.

Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • understand what can be termed as ‘bullying’
  • become aware of the issues related to bullying that are prevalent in the schools
  • identify the different forms of bullying
  • explore strategies to prevent and manage bullying situation

Workshop Leader
Ms. Shirin Karimjee holds a BA degree in Education. She brings with her almost 17 years of experience in both teaching and school management. She is also proficient in library software and has worked in Public Libraries in Houston, USA. In addition to that, Shirin has conducted training sessions for teachers and school administrators. She is currently working as an Academic Coordinator at Veritas Learning Centre (VLC).
