Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • become aware of the importance of promoting holistic mathematical understanding in children
  • design learning objective for mathematical learning based on 21 century skills
  • understand the use of resources in hands-on activities while teaching concepts like Measurement, Geometry, Numbers, Handling Data and Problem Solving

Ms. Romana Shaikh holds a Masters degree in Education and is an accredited Teacher Trainer from University of Bradford as well as The College of St. Mark and St. Johan’s (Marjon) UK. She brings with her vast experience in the field of education in areas such as training of trainers, teacher education, curriculum designing and use of IT in education.
