This workshop will explore strategies to develop a positive attitude among students towards reading and set up manageable reading programs in schools.

Components

• understand the cognitive and affective nature of reading
• explore ways to integrate extensive reading into the curriculum
• learn to select appropriate reading material and establish an effective library
• identify strategies for maintaining reading records for evaluation purposes.
