Objectives
Through this workshop, participants will:

  • explore basic concepts in art
  • examine the objectives in teaching primary level Art
  • develop effective Art lesson plans to achieve the planned objectives
  • investigate strategies to develop independent learning
  • link art to the curriculum, community and culture

Workshop Leaders
Ms. Maimoona Farooq is Head of the Art Department at the Karachi Grammar School, Junior Section. She has 25 years of teaching in primary education and has valuable experience as a Class teacher, Art and Craft teacher, Resource person and Team leader. She also coordinates and manages stage sets, costume design and props for the school productions.
