Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • explore the need for promoting effective communication in children
  • understand the importance of oracy skills in promoting concrete learning
  • identify ways to enable children to express their ideas confidently and inquire to gain information
  • plan strategies to integrate listening and speaking skills in language development
  • become aware of the teacher’s role in promoting fluency and accuracy in spoken language.

Ms.Arwa Khuzaima has received her basic education in East Africa and has specialised in Early Childhood Education from England. She has over 22 years of teaching experience in ECE classes both here and abroad and has been conducting workshops for teachers of various institutions both within Pakistan and abroad.
