Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • understand the impact of integrated teaching on continuity and progression in learning
  • explore ways to promote language across the curriculum
  • discuss interactive strategies leading to multi-skill development through integration
  • experiment, using one piece of writing to assess multiple skills
  • plan a lesson based on integration

Workshop Leader

Ms. Zarafshan Husain holds a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) from The University of Sunderland, UK, and a Certificate of English Language Teacher from The London School of English Language, UK. She has been involved with primary education for more than 20 years, both in and outside Pakistan in various capacities, which include teaching, management and curriculum development. She has also been conducting training workshops on a variety of issues related to primary school teaching.
