A major challenge that confronts most trainers is how to reach across to adults. It is important for trainers to equip themselves with ideas and strategies to conduct effective workshop sessions aimed at learner-centred learning. This workshop has been planned to focus on ways to adopt active approaches and skills for meaningful communication.

Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • become aware of the skills required for being an effective trainer
  • learn training and teaching tips for gaining maximum impact on the adult learner
  • develop ways to manage difficult people and make them active participants
  • identify effective audio / visual aids and review benefits and drawbacks of each

Workshop Leader

Ms. Rubina Naqvi has B.Sc / B.Ed degrees from Karachi University. She is an accredited trainer and holds a Diploma in Professional Studies from University of Bradford, UK. She brings with her 36 years of experience in the field of education which includes teaching, training teachers, and school management. Currently she is a member of the Training and Development Team at TRC and is working in the capacity of Senior Manager, Membership Network since the last 13 years.
