Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • understand the importance and role of vocabulary in terms of language development
  • reflect on the common issues that arise from lack of vocabulary
  • become aware of the specific elements related to vocabulary building
  • develop meaningful strategies to promote word learning and word consciousness

Workshop Leader

Ms. Masooma Rashid holds a Masters degree in English. She brings with her 17 years of experience in the field of education, which includes setting up and management of different schools. Currently she is serving at the Bahria Institute of Teacher Training where she conducts workshops and also develops courses. Besides this, she is also a visiting faculty at Iqra University for Business Communication.
