In the working and learning environment, a confident presenter is one who is able to convey information in an effective way and draw the attention of the audience. In order to do this effectively, one needs to be aware of the skills of public speaking, supported by Power Point presentations. This workshop will focus on ways to develop the art of public speaking.

Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • learn how to overcome the fear of presenting
  • explore ways to capture audience’s attention
  • identify aspects of body language and voice modulation
  • prepare content for the presentation
  • enhance the skill of preparing Power Point presentation

Workshop Leader
Ms. Ramsha Ghani brings with her a BBA degree in Finance. She is a certified O level teacher with a four-year experience in teaching Economics, Principles of Accounts, Business Studies and English. She has been associated with The City School in the recent past and is currently doing her MS in Economics and Finance from SZABIST. She was one of the judges of the Bay View College Entrepreneurship Competition and prepared her students for The Lyceum Entrepreneurial Competition, where they won The Venture Drive Model. Ramsha is one of the top achievers of Aptis, which is an English Assessment Test. It includes the assessment of speaking, writing, reading and listening. This test is conducted by the British Council and is mandatory for the teachers of The City School.
