Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • understand the difference between “Assessment of Learning” and “Assessment for Learning”
  • identify different methods and purposes of assessing students’ learning
  • classify different labels of assessment and evaluation
  • identify learning outcomes connected to different methods for assessment
  • become aware of techniques for applying formative and summative assessment

Workshop Leader

Ms. Saboohi Irtiza holds a BA degree with a major in Education from Karachi University and brings with her 22 years of both teaching as well as administrative experience in schools.Windows 7 Clé
In addition to this she also has to her credit a Diploma in Professional Studies from Bradford University, UK, and has contributed significantly towards development of curriculum for Early Years and Primary level. She is currently working at The City School in the capacity of Manager, Early Years Education.
