Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • highlight the characteristics of an effective lesson
  • differentiate between teacher-centered and student-centered teaching models
  • learn about a range of teaching methods and their effective use at the secondary level
  • develop and present lesson plans based on the different teaching models

Workshop Leader

Syeda Nazish Hasan has been associated with the field of education since the last 13 years. She holds degrees in Chemistry as well as in Education. Having experience of teaching at both national and international levels, Nazish has also worked as a teacher educator and conducted many workshops for teachers at various higher education institutions.
