A growing body of scientific evidence tells us that emotional development begins very early in life, that it is a critical aspect of the development of overall brain structure, and it has enormous consequences over the course of a life time. These findings have far reaching implications for policy makers and parents and therefore demand our attention. This workshop will guide participants to explore ways for optimum social and emotional growth and development of young learners.

Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • understand the causes of challenging behaviours in young learners
  • explore ways to minimize the risk of social and emotional health problems
  • learn how to help children build resilience by working on their self esteem
  • develop a checklist for monitoring social and emotional development in children

Workshop Leader
Ms. Sangeeta Sham has a Bachelors Degree in Arts and is a certified Early Childhood Education Professional from TRC. She brings with her an extensive experience of 10 years in teaching young learners at Mrs. Haque’s Nursery. During the tenure of her service, she was also responsible for mentoring teachers by conducting workshops and counselling parents in effective child guidance strategies. At present she holds a leadership position in a reputable school.

Cancellation Policy:
No refunds will be given if a cancellation is made one day before the workshop
/course 50% will be deducted if a cancellation is made two days before the workshop/course and 25% in all other cases. If TRC cancels a workshop/course, full refund will be given to all confirmed participants. Requests for refunds must be received within 5 working days of the workshop/course. Please register and submit course fee promptly with the enrolment form.
