The pandemic has unleashed the significance of online teaching and pushed our teachers to get through this innovative medium of instruction. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that this opportunity is leveraged to build stronger knowledge of learning tools available online to make their online teaching more interesting, active, accessible, and a productive experience for their students. The workshop will highlight instructional strategies, best practices, suggestions, various learning avenues available online, and activities that teachers could incorporate in their practice to engage their students in the present virtual classroom scenario.

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • differentiate between synchronised and non-synchronised online experiences
  • analyse the factors that are essential for effective online learning
  • explore various learning tools available online
  • identify ways to manage workload with online teaching

Workshop Leader
Ms. Sonia Iqbal has 12 years of experience in working with developing skills in students at all levels of achievement in public and private sector schools. Along with teaching English and Science, she has also worked in the capacity of an assistant editor and as a freelance content writer for distinctive magazines and newspapers. Currently she is working as a member of the Training and Development team at TRC.

No refunds will be given if a cancellation is made one day before the workshop. 50% will be deducted if a cancellation is made two days before the workshop, and 25% in all other cases. If TRC cancels a workshop, a full refund will be given to all confirmed participants. Requests for refunds must be received within 5 working days of the workshop.
