Parents are a vitally important and potentially valuable resource of a school. Involving parents means drawing on the students’ outside world, that would help them grow in a wholesome manner. This workshop will focus on the school-home partnership, based on effective communication and collaboration with the parent community.

- understand the importance of parental role in schools
- define the rights and duties of parents
- explore strategies to involve parents and maintain effective communication with them
Workshop Leader: Ms. Rubina Naqvi has B.Sc / B.Ed degrees from Karachi University. She is an accredited trainer and holds a Diploma in Professional Studies from University of Bradford, UK. She brings with her 43 years of experience in the field of education which includes teaching, training teachers, and school management. Currently she is a member of the Training and Development Team at TRC and is working in the capacity of Senior Manager, Membership Network since the last 20 years.
