The current pandemic of COVID – 19 has considerably impacted our lives, especially those of children of all ages. We all have experienced different daily routines and activities within the restrictions of our homes. Returning to school life for the children will pose some adjustment issues. Therefore, it is imperative for educators to rethink and restructure the different aspects of school life and be prepared to face the challenges when welcoming the children back to school once the situation normalizes.
This 25-hour modular online course has been designed for educators to reflect on the challenges and opportunities in these unusual circumstances to ease the transition of children from home to school. The 5 modules will help explore the opportunities to assist children in effectively settle into school life once again.

• Modifying the School Curriculum
– revising previous learning
– importance of linking previous learning to the new
– activities for introducing new learning in context of what is known

Workshop Leader
Ms. Rubina Naqvi has B.Sc / B.Ed degrees from Karachi University. She is an accredited trainer and holds a Diploma in Professional Studies from University of Bradford, UK. She brings with her 39 years of experience in the field of education which includes teaching, training teachers, and school management. Currently she is a member of the Training and Development Team at TRC and is working in the capacity of Senior Manager, Membership Network since the last 15 years.

Important Note

Participants can register for the whole course or any of the modules if they so wish. The charges for each module vary as given.

No refunds will be given if a cancellation is made one day before the workshop. 50% will be deducted if a cancellation is made two days before the workshop, and 25% in all other cases. If TRC cancels a workshop, a full refund will be given to all confirmed participants. Requests for refunds must be received within 5 working days of the workshop.
