Objectives

Through this workshop, participants will:

  • explore one’s own beliefs about teaching reading
  • become aware of ways to develop in students an innate love for reading
  • identify various types of reading strategies
  • learn practical ideas to promote the reading habit at home
  • understand Intensive and Extensive reading
  • enhance cooperative learning through reading

Ms. Arwa Khuzaima has received her basic education in East Africa and has specialized in Early Childhood Education from England. She has over 25 years of teaching experience in ECE and has been conducting workshops for teachers of various institutions both within Pakistan and abroad.
